Lost Wallet Wedding Blessing

This story comes to us from Lisa D.  of Johnson, TN

Our wedding took months to plan. We’d go to the Church to get married, then meet at the Brandi House later for the reception, Toward the end of the evening, we were to sneak away to our honeymoon.

After we each said, “I do”, George told me he lost his wallet. I looked at him and gave him back his words, “You lost your wallet!?”

He started explaining how he had to fix his pants at his brother’s house earlier, and that if she could stall everyone at the Church, he’d get the wallet and the key that was in it, to unlock the Brandi House doors.

Little did we know, while I was stalling all the guests at the church, across town the Brandi House was in flames.

According to the fire department, there was a gas leak in the kitchen. The Fire Marshall’s report said the pilot light under the hot water heater ignited the room full of natural gas causing an explosion.

If George had not misplaced that wallet, someone would have been in that kitchen when it exploded.

Sometimes little inconveniences happen for a reason.
